We are tired of the anxiety and tension that has been present in our community during the past three years. We have been disturbed by the unwarranted and wasteful spending of taxpayer dollars by the Board of Supervisors.
Both Supervisor Joy Royle and former Supervisor Tony Rowan voted “NO” on any matters related to the lawsuit brought by their fellow supervisors against two former township officials. The litigation has cost the township taxpayers more than $140,000 over the past three years. No credible reason was ever given for initiating this action and the action has failed twice in court. This legal action should have never happened.
In 2026 we have a chance to turn things around in the leadership of Greenvale Township. We support the candidacy of Tony Rowan for Supervisor. Tony is a lifelong resident of Greenvale with years of prior experience on the Board of Supervisors and his stellar work on the Road Committee. Tony has a clear and direct style that will be a welcome contrast to the negative and often bitter tenor of some township leaders. He is highly respected by many of our neighbors. He is a good listener and will conduct himself in an open and transparent manner. We support Tony Rowan for Supervisor and Thyra Nelson for Clerk in the election on March 10, 2026. Please vote!
