Tony Rowan tackles wild parsnip!

About nine years ago I was riding my bicycle down the road (Jamaica Ave) and saw some questionable weeds growing in the ditches. I went home and looked them up and discovered they were wild parsnip: bad! The next day with my husband we cut and poisoned them.

Tony Rowan found out about the wild parsnips and took it upon himself to drive the township roads, find the weeds, map them to remember where they were, and diligently got rid of them for years. It showed me how dedicated to a cause Tony is when he starts something. I was only going to take care of my road, but Tony took care of all the township roads.

Tony would be a great addition to have helping our township in so many different areas. Please vote for Tony Rowan for Greenvale Township Supervisor on March 10, 2026.
