Absentee and Early Voting Are Great Options!

With the election only two weeks away, there is still time for absentee and early voting.

With absentee voting, you can request a ballot by filling out the Minnesota Regular Absentee Ballot Application and returning it to elections@co.dakota.mn.us A ballot will be sent to you, which you can fill in and mail back to the Dakota County Elections office using the instructions included with the ballot. Keep in mind delivery times with the mail may delay your receipt of your absentee ballot.

Another great option is to vote early at the Administration Center for Dakota County at1590 Highway 55, Hastings, MN. In Person Voting is available from February 21st through March 10th. Please see the Absentee Ballots and Early Voting webpage for more information and for hours of operations for early in person voting.

In Person Voting at the town hall will begin on March 11th. Voting hours are from 10am until 8pm. The annual meeting will start shortly after voting closes for the night.

No matter which way you decide to vote (absentee, early in person or in person on election day) please cast your ballot. Your vote counts. Your vote is important.
